Below is a wide variety of resources and tips to help with all aspects of running a club, including programming events, budgeting, leadership, using orgsync, and receiving funding. All these files can also be accessed by clicking "Files" on your club Orgsync page as well as by scrolling down. AS Budget Authority Guide Handbook

If you have any questions about finances, budgeting, or using your club account, check out our AS Budget Authority Guide Handbook.The following are required fiscal procedures for all AS organizations. The Budget Authority is responsible for knowing all Budget Authority guidelines and ensuring that all transactions and club members follow AS policies and procedures that are set forth in this guide, by the AS Business Office, the AS Board of Directors, Western Washington University, and the State of Washington when entering into any contract or transaction on behalf of the club.

Petty Cash Form

If you are filling out a petty cash form for a purchase of 25 dollars and below, you can print it out here and save a trip to the AS Business Office! Simply fill it out and bring it to Viking Union 538!

Successful Program Planning

The key to any successful event is great organization! The below files will help guide you towards a great event. To get started, check out this file above on successful program planning to help you develop the goals of your program, create a solid plan, coordinate your event, and conduct post evaulation.

Event Risk Assessment Form

Complete an initial draft of this form to be shared with your advisor or the Student Activities Advisor (Casey.Hayden@wwu.edu) if your event has significant risk factors of any type: physical, financial, facilities, emotional, or reputational. An advisor will meet with you to discuss ways to mitigate those risks and create a finalized version of this form.

Co-Sponsorship Agreement

If you are co-sponsoring an event with another club or organization, check out the file here! The purpose of this agreement is to serve as a framework for the development of an effective working relationship between Associated Students organizations and other campus organizations. This form does not constitute a contractual agreement, but serves to formalize the responsibilities of those parties entering into a co-sponsorship relationship

Event Evaluation Form

After your event is over, make sure you use one of our event evaluation forms to reflect on what went well and what can be improved upon so that the next event is even better!
